Law Review About-Face;U-Va. Journal Tries to Attract 1st Black

In its 74 years of publishing scholarly legal articles, the
prestigious Virginia Law Review at the University of Virginia Law
School here has not had a single black member.
Last week, the membership of the student-run journal-the only
major law review in the country never to have offered a position to a
black student-adopted an affirmative action plan designed to change
that situation.
