SCOTTISH POETRY LIBRARY
A POEM is such a small thing, a handful of lines pitted against
the millions of printed words in the cosmos. In our busy, word-
filled lives, it's all too easy to skim over a poem which speaks its
big truths in a still, small voice. Jean Johnstone's hand-made
artists' books mitigate against this.
Each book is a single poem, hand-scripted on to hand-made paper,
bound between textured covers and wrapped in a fold of silk or linen.
