THE feelgood factor which has enveloped the top end of Scottish rugby since Matt Williams and Todd Blackadder took prominent roles has spread to some of the most well-known and vocally critical figures from the past.

Finlay Calder and Gavin Hastings are to spearhead a new 'National Team Mentor Group', with Jim Calder, Iwan Tukalo, Kenny Milne and John Jeffrey having already held informal talks with the current squad at their Stirling training camp.
