Interested buyers quick to come forward after collapse of Amulet

PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS yesterday revealed it had received several inquiries from interested buyers just hours after Amulet, the Manchester-based owner of the Accident Group, was placed into administration with the loss of 2,400 jobs.

Amulet, a "no-win, no-fee" personal injury claims specialist, said it had been forced to shut down due to "continual battles with the insurance industry which have been a considerable drain on company resources, and the sudden failure of a banking partner...
