Retracing last steps of Arctic explorer

WHILE every schoolboy could recount the tale of Scott of the
Antarctic, one of the most disastrous episodes in polar history
remains shrouded in mystery.
In 1845, Sir John Franklin set off with 128 men to discover the
North West Passage of the Arctic in his ships Erebus and Terror. They
were never to return, after the expedition became stranded in the
ice.
Now eight explorers will be the first to retrace the final 200
mile trek from a landing at Victory Point on King William Island, in
the Arctic Ocean, to Starvation Cove, where the last traces of the
