OPERA Festus Tramway, Glasgow ***

INTO an arid land which has long-forgotten the joy of feasting, arrive three travelling chefs with no-one to cook for. The "big boss" of cooks appears at the head of his cart.

Thus begins Festus, the ambitious chamber opera presented by Grindlay Court Theatre of Edinburgh in association with Project Ability of Glasgow and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
