It centres your thoughts on the music - in this case the 1980s Mad Rush and Metamorphosis, and five of the ongoing Etudes which Glass is still adding to. In this basic form of presentation, it didn't add up to much. Simple common chords, reiterated, reshaped and re-textured on solo piano, without the wash and kick you get from instrumental or electronic enhancement, didn't do it ...
