Montgomery Sees Investment In State Teacher Pension Fight

All across Maryland, local officials are huddling with their state delegates and senators to put the final flourishes on strategies for the upcoming session of the General Assembly.

The emphasis is on how to get more-generally more state money-out of Annapolis.

But in Montgomery County the concern is a bit different: how to avoid getting less.

The philosophy of the rest of the state toward Montgomery County, says state Sen. Howard A. Denis (R-Montgomery), "is what is mine is mine but what is yours is negotiable."
