Braveheart tears up Glasgow deal after university ties GBP 5m knot with IP Group

BRAVEHEART Investment Group, the business angel network, has torn up a technology funding deal with Glasgow University amid anger at the institution's GBP 5m tie-up with IP Group, the London-based spin- out specialist.

Glasgow announced last week that it will sell a 12 per cent stake in its spin-out companies for the next 25 years to IP Group in return for an initial GBP 5m and the services of an adviser.
