Cornelian homes in on charity expert

CORNELIAN Asset Managers, the investment firm which spun out of Noble Group, has poached a top adviser from rival Adam & Co in a bid to bring in GBP 100m in charity mandates.

June Jessop, a former investment director at Adam & Co, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland, has joined Cornelian as a board director and head of charities. She will take a stake in the Edinburgh firm, which manages assets of GBP 200m.

Jessop is one of a handful of Scottish experts in the charity market, which is expected to grow rapidly in the wake of legislation which makes it compulsory for trustees to seek investment ...
