Di Rollo worth the weight

WAY back in 2001 when the Millennium was still stretching and yawning the Guardian ran a typical pre-season article picking six players to watch for the upcoming season. Amongst the selected six were Leicester back Sam Vesty and a young Munster lock forward by the name of Paul O'Connell who has done all right for himself.

In choosing a Scot the Guardian sidestepped some obvious candidates and opted for Marcus Di Rollo, adding by way of an explanation: "the word is that Di Rollo could upstage everyone".

Good things come to those who wait and that cutting could yet prove prophetic fully five ...
