Bam given one month to keep Vis takeover hopes alive

BAM Entertainment, the US company bidding to buy computer games developer Vis Entertainment, has been given a month to raise GBP 10m to retain its listing on the Nasdaq market and keep its takeover hopes alive.

Nasdaq officials last week set Bam a deadline of May 17 to complete its stock placement and publish accounts for the three months to March.

If publisher Bam fails to retain its Nasdaq status, its bid for Vis, Scotland's biggest computer games company, will be declared invalid.
