Golf Club. Founded in 1887 this famous links has hosted 12 Open
Championships and is about to host its 13th this week as Tiger,
Monty, Ernie and the rest arrive in the near-coastal town. Sir Henry
Cotton called Sandwich "a golfer's heaven" but not all would concur.
