Forth Ports sets sights on Grangemouth in bid to push forward residential development plans

FORTH Ports, the ports and property group, is eyeing Grangemouth
as the next site for its accelerating push into residential
development.
The Edinburgh-based company, which has so far sold chunks of land
at ports in Leith and Dundee to housebuilders, sees Grangemouth as
the next location for significant development in a 10-year business
plan drawn up to capitalise on its diversification into property.
Charles Hammond, Forth's chief executive, reckons up to 30 acres
of land could be set aside for residential use at Grangemouth in the
next two or three years, on top of commercial development ...
