Linlithgow win it for Sinnet but Warriors wait in wings

LINLITHGOW ROSE were today celebrating clinching the first silverware of the junior season after beating Newtongrange Star in the League Cup - but it may have been boss Jim Sinnet's last act as manager as he revealed he's in the running to take over at Stenhousemuir.

Last night's victory was the 19th cup won by Sinnet during his six- and-a-half year spell at Prestonfield and it's that impressive record which has convinced third division Warriors to place him on a short- list of two to succeed Campbell Money at Ochilview.
