We're stuck in a rut waiting three years for road repairs

RESIDENTS have been fighting for three years to get repairs carried out on a badly potholed road they have blamed for wrecking their cars.

Motorists say Craigpark Avenue in Ratho is like a "farm track" and they are forced to crawl along the residential street at just 5mph.

Linda Hutton said her late father, William Crawford, first reported the huge holes to the city council in March 2004.

She took up the campaign after Mr Crawford died a few months later, contacting the council's Clarence repairs helpline at least 20 times.
