West had 16 as American University easily defeated the
Czechoslovakian junior national basketball team, 91-58, in front of
2,047 at American's Bender Arena.
The Eagles, favored by many national publications to win the
Colonial Athletic Association, were never threatened as they rolled
to a 21-4 lead and led, 48-26, at halftime.
