Hibs fans' charity

FANS who raised thousands of pounds for an orphanage in the
Ukraine are to set up their own charity to ensure long-term support
for the children.
The idea of helping the orphanage, on the outskirts of the city of
Dnipropetrovsk, came from supporter Steve Carr after Tony Mowbray's
side were drawn against the Ukrainian outfit in the UEFA Cup.
Within days more than GBP 5000 was raised allowing the supporters
to hand over winter clothing and shoes for the youngsters in addition
to medical and sports equipment, televisions and even basic supplies
