Artist to put life on tape

OUTSPOKEN city artist Richard Demarco is to have his life story recorded for posterity as he reaches his 75th birthday.

The life of the Scots-Italian artist is being captured on sound archive as part of the British Library Sound Archive's National Life Story Collection (NLSC).

The finished archive will allow future generations of artists, historians and members of the public to relive the experiences of some of the most famous artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The cost of making Demarco's recording is being sponsored by the Scottish Arts Council, enabling the public to gain an insight ...
