Devilishly good plays mark 40th for Lyceum
|
A FIVE-HOUR theatrical epic telling the story of a man who sold
his soul to the Devil is to be the highlight of the Royal Lyceum
Theatre Company's 40th anniversary season.
Audiences for Faust will be able to watch the two-part play in one
day by sitting through a Saturday matinee performance before
returning in the evening for the conclusion.
Tipped to be one of the theatrical events of the coming year, the
Lyceum believes the innovative twin production will prove a big draw
despite the risk of "numb bum" syndrome.
