Buses to display moving poetry

POETRY by Edinburgh school pupils is to feature alongside the works of Robert Burns and Sir Walter Scott on city buses.

The poem Arthur's Seat, a joint composition by youngsters from Firrhill High School, will appear on posters inside Lothian Buses as part of a drive to encourage more people to develop an interest in poetry.

The work is one of five relating to Edinburgh which has been picked by the city's official Makar (poet), Stewart Conn, to appear on posters inside the buses during May.
