Hibs fans to pitch in despite Bobby's blast

HIBS fans aiming to raise GBP 600,000 to install an artificial surface at Easter Road are to press ahead with their campaign despite boss Bobby Williamson's scathing criticism of Dunfermline's plastic pitch.

The campaign will be stepped up in the next few days with a mail- shot to 22,000 supporters, urging them to "Pitch In" to help pay for the "FieldTurf" surface which is seen as an integral part of Hibs' business plan to enable the club to remain at Easter Road.
