Delight for fans as Hibs commit to Easter Road

HIBS fans today reacted with delight to the news that the club is to stay at Easter Road.

Hibees supporters had been almost unanimous in their objection to a proposed groundshare with Capital rivals Hearts at Straiton and there was palpable relief that the idea had been ditched once and for all.

Upon announcing the controversial Straiton proposal, the club insisted the fans would be kept in the loop as the consultation process developed and the paying customers are now delighted that their voice has been heard.

Frank Dougan, treasurer of the Hibs Supporters' Association, welcomed the news ...
