HOSPITAL engineers are being retrained in the aftermath of the second power cut to hit Edinburgh's flagship hospital in a month.

The private backers behind the new ERI at Little France have pledged to take action to try to stop any further power failures.

Consort Healthcare today apologised for the power cut which plunged the ERI into darkness last Tuesday night.
