Aggreko ends search for new chief executive

AGGREKO, the world's largest supplier of portable power generators, has completed its search for a new chief executive following the death of former boss Philip Harrower last December.

The Glasgow-based group said Rupert Soames, formerly chief executive of the banking and securities division at software group Misys, will be taking up the top post from July 1. Before joining Misys he worked for GEC.
