Deep Sea wipe-out

DEEP Sea Leisure, owner of the Fife aquarium Deep Sea World, said
costs associated with the purchase of a majority stake in the firm by
a Spanish rival wiped out a rise in profits last year.
Profits for the eight months to the end of October totalled GBP
1.1 million, but after taking into account a 252,000 pounds charge
for advisers' fees, the bottom-line figure came to GBP 886,000,
compared with GBP 878,000 for the same period last year.
DSL is now controlled by Spanish firm Net-Ein, part of the Aspro
leisure group .
