Mum's anguish after son leaves playgroup

A MOTHER "feared the worst" when she arrived at a playgroup to
find her two-year-old son had disappeared.
Toddler Peter Craig managed to make his way past staff and parents
and walk out the gate on his second day at the Countess youth centre
in Dunbar.
When mother Lorna Fairbairn went to pick up her son, she could not
find him and none of the staff or volunteers could tell her where he
was. Staff searched the building, but the toddler was nowhere to be
found.
Ms Fairbairn frantically searched for the youngster and eventually
found him in a nearby park - beside a main road, a busy car park ...
