HALMAHERA has not won for more than three years, but he gets a
confident vote in the GBP 50,000 William Hill Great St Wilfrid
Handicap (3.55pm) at Ripon tomorrow.
The 23 runners for this six-furlong sprint will be spread right
across the track and much will depend upon the draw, but Halmahera
has a real touch of class and deserves to land a major prize after a
drought of epic proportions.
