Blake's heaven as artwork 'found'

AN amateur antiques enthusiast believes he has discovered a missing painting by famous British artist and poet William Blake.

The picture - of a uniformed man chiselling a headstone with his horse by his side - was sold in Edinburgh more than 100 years ago.

Ken Matthews initially thought the painting, which has the name "Flaxman" written on the back, was the work of celebrated 18th- century English sculptor John Flaxman.
