Fresh blow for old firm
|
THE FA Premiership today insisted that the risk of crowd trouble
would be one of the main reasons behind denying the Old Firm entry
into the English top flight.
The Glasgow giants have been continuously stressing their desire
to quit the SPL for the more lucrative playing fields of England.
But the prospect of thousands of Celtic and Rangers supporters
making the journey across the Border on a weekly basis to see their
favourites in action is something which seriously concerns clubs in
the Premiership.
