Full Marks for a misguided demo

GOOD news came this week with the announcement that Marks &
Spencer has turned in a small profit for the second quarter in a row.
It might not seem much, and the road ahead is still bumpy, but for
the hundreds of thousands of people whose pensions funds hold equity
in the retailing giant it must come as a relief.
Sad then that some misguided souls are campaigning for us to
boycott M&S because it buys some gear from Israel. I was inside Marks
& Sparks on Princes Street as the noisy rabble marched past at the
weekend - and I was nearly provoked into buying a new suit and a
pound of jaffas but ...
