Buyers home in as city mansion loses the plots

WEALTHY house-buyers who fail to find their dream home in Edinburgh are being offered the chance to build their own right in the heart of the Capital in a new direct marketing move.

Five large plots of land, which had previously formed part of the grounds to Belmont House in Murrayfield, are up for sale at around 600,000 pounds each.

Interest from potential buyers is already said to be fierce and it is expected the plots could go for substantially more than the minimum offer price.
