The Good Hope, The King's Theatre ****

NOSTALGIA and tragedy stalk the stage of the King's Theatre this week in this National Theatre production of The Good Hope, starring an on-form Frances de la Tour.

And, as you might expect from a play that has been rewritten by Lee Hall, best known for his Oscar-nominated screenplay for Billy Elliot, it is stirring stuff.
