TODAY the Evening News launches a campaign for the Simpsons to
keep its name when it moves to the new ERI.
The controversy over proposals to drop the world-famous Simpson
name from the city's maternity unit when it moves to Little France
have been growing since health chiefs said they were considering the
idea.
The Evening News believes the people of Edinburgh want the name of
one of the city's most famous sons to continue to be linked with its
maternity services.
