GYROPLANE CRASH REPORT DOES NOT CITE CAUSE

The National Transportation Safety Board has released a
preliminary report on a gyroplane crash that killed a Christiansburg
woman and seriously injured a Blacksburg man early this month.
While not citing a definitive cause of the crash, the report does
detail communication between the gyroplane's pilot, Ranson Jerome
"Randy" Pelt Jr., and another pilot before the crash in a Blacksburg
neighborhood on the afternoon of Oct. 6.
