VALLEY VIEW MALL'S TEEN ESCORT POLICY BEGINS TONIGHT

Starting at 6 p.m. today, teenagers won't be allowed to shop alone at Valley View Mall. They must be escorted by a parent or guardian Friday and Saturday evenings.

But there's some wiggle room in the rule. Teenagers will be allowed to shop inside the mall's department stores after 6 p.m. if they enter through the stores' outside doors, Valley View Mall management said.
