For Sherone Price, West African dance isn't just a different style
of movement. It's a different experience altogether.
"African dance is something that affects how you feel," Price
said. "When you see someone dancing on stage, it does affect you."
Price, 47, is sharing his enthusiasm for the genre with the
Radford University community this week. On Tuesday, he taught a
public master dance class. Tonight, Radford University dance students
will perform a West African dance piece under his direction.
West African dance typically incorporates movement and drumming,
