Ralph Edward Burch, 73, of Lexington, died on Thursday, August 23, 2007 in the Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem ,Va. Mr. Burch was born on August 31, 1933 in Fort Wayne, Ind., a son of the late Henry Erwin and Ruth Evelyn (Bell) Burch. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, a member of Colony Heights Christian Church in Fort Wayne, Ind. and he enjoyed gardening and his yard work. Mr. Burch was a graduate of Southside High School and a graduate of Indiana University. He was retired from the U.S. Justice Department as a special agent.
