NOVEL OF NIGERIA'S CIVIL WAR

Chimamanda Adichie weaves a tale against the backdrop of Nigeria's
horrific civil war, specifically the fate of Biafra. This is not
about politics, but it does give us a better understanding of what
this conflict meant to those living through it, somewhat in the
manner that Margaret Mitchell's "Gone With the Wind" was about our
War Between the States.

city by his aunt to be houseboy for Odenigbo, a distinguished
