Joseph Jefferson Brown, Jr., 89, of Golden Age Retirement Home,
Cedar Bluff, Va., formerly of Thompson Valley, Va., died Sunday,
April 22, 2007. Born February 8, 1918 he was a son of the late Joseph
Edward Brown and Lula Margaret Herald Brown. He was a member of the
Thompson Valley Church of God and was a retired foreman from Virginia
Department of Transportation. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by his wife of sixty three years, Mary Marguerite
Bowling Brown; five sisters, three brothers. He was the last
surviving member of his immediate family. Survivors include two ...
