William Franklin (Bill) Smith, Jr. age 61 of Bassett walked into
our Heavenly Fathers open arms on Thursday, December 21, 2006. He was
at home surrounded by his loving wife, brothers and sister, church
family and friends. He was a warm, generous and very loving man, and
a good Christian for the services of our Lord. Bill was a veteran of
the U. S. Navy and was a member of Fork Mountain United Methodist
Church. He was born in West Jefferson, Ohio on May 20, 1945 to Irene
