As usual, Miller Baber cleaned up Sunday at the Roanoke Valley
Match Play golf tournament.
As one of the tournament organizers, Baber left Blue Hills with a
trunk full of sponsorship signs, tee markers, drink coolers and
leftover player favors.
He might have taken a little extra care with the crystal decanter
that symbolized his third victory in the event, which went by several
different names before Baber was part of a group that reorganized it
in 2002.
