POWER LINE PLAN GETS TANGLED IN BLACKWATER

Golden leaves drifted down the Blackwater River, which, despite
its name, was crystal clear on a mild November day.
Richard Lynch pointed across a portion of the river that's been
touted as the "best section in the county for canoeing by far,"
according to a county official.
"That 138-kilovolt line will be right up there in those woods,"
Lynch said. "All those trees will be cut down. It crosses here and
goes up into our woods."
