OBIT - POWELL, WILLIAM C. SR.

William C. Powell, Sr. 82, of Rocky Mount, died Sunday, June 26,
2005 at his home. He was a former tobacco farmer and also a former
member of the Franklin County Board of Supervisors. He was born
August 9, 1922, a son of the late Henry Lewis and Mary Frith Powell.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn L. Powell; and his
sister, Hazel Powell Ogle. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-
law, Teresa Powell and Brad Herr; son and daughter-in-law, William
C., Jr. ...
