It's Time to Make a Saturated Fat Attack

"Scoops" are nice, whether they're ice cream or news. That's why
I was glad to see Surgeon General C. Everett Koop confirming what Fit
Over 40 has been saying for more than two years: Lowering your
saturated fat intake will lower your chances of cardiovascular
disease-stroke, heart attack, hardening of the arteries-all of those
words which occasionally make even the most flippant swallow hard.
The goal, recommended by the Surgeon General's report and other
health experts, is to lower our total fat intake to 30 percent of our
caloric intake.
