Yes, these beavers are busy.
And yes, some think their dam-building is a damn nuisance.
And yes, their work area looks like confetti from a carpenter's
workshop.
It's just that Gerard Udell wishes those damn busy beavers would
take their woodworking elsewhere.
"A boy with a Boy Scout ax couldn't do any better," said Udell
who, with his roommate, Harold Gosline, gazed at the six trees in his
Southeast Roanoke yard that beavers felled this year. Though the two
