Whether he likes it, Brian Vickers leads the NASCAR Busch Series standings heading into next weekend's season finale at Homestead- Miami Speedway.

The 20-year-old joked last month that he didn't want to be atop the points until after the final race with the way the lead has changed so often. The points lead changed Saturday for the 17th time in 33 races - and fourth race in a row.

"I'm a superstitious guy, but everybody keeps telling me I don't need to be," said Vickers, who holds a 22-point lead on second-place David Green. "I'm going to try to break that this week."
