SEPARATE CATS WHEN THEY GET AGGRESSIVE

Q: I have two cats that used to get along very well together.
Just recently, they have started being quite aggressive toward each
other - lots of hissing and spitting, and even physical attacks. What
can I do to stop this horrid behavior?
A: Aggression is normal feline behavior. A visit to the
veterinarian may be necessary to rule out any underlying medical prob
lem that could be making one cat more aggressive. If there are no
medical causes, then the owner needs to try to identify what
behaviors or situations trigger these signs of aggression.
