MAGEE, Archibald Carter, MD, 77, a resident of Washington, N.C.,
died Wednesday, October 9, 2002, in Washington. A committal service
will be held at the family cemetery plot in the Sumter Cemetery,
Sumter, S.C. at a later date. Dr. Magee was born on August 31, 1925,
in Galax, Grayson County, Va. and was the son of the late Abiathar
Carter and Louise Plowden Magee. Dr. Magee was a veteran of the U.S.
Air Force and was discharged with the rank of Captain. He was a
