The Maroons beat Buckingham County on offense. They beat the
Knights on defense. They beat them on special teams.
George Wythe beat Buckingham County 26-12 in the Group A Division
2 championship game while what looked like the better part of
Wytheville's population hollered the tongues out of their heads and
all but stomped the concrete grandstand to rubble at James Madison
University's Bridgeforth Stadium.
